Igor Chekun, head of Softline Venture Partners, said the launch of competition in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Belarus and Armenia is continuation of the company’s strategy on strengthening activity in the CIS.

He said the main aim of the competition is to assist to boost of development market and may be to find interesting teams for future investments.

Software and web-application developers can participate at the competition. The winner will receive investment for US$3,000 and the winners of the second and third place will get US$1,000 each.

The competition results will be summed up on 7 December.
