Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Decree of the President "On additional measures to promote employment and provide permanent work for youth" was adopted.
The document establishes that in the period from 1 May 2023 to 1 January 2025, employers (with the exception of budgetary organizations, state-owned enterprises, legal entities, in the authorized capital (capital) of which the state share is 50% or more, as well as payers of social tax at a rate of 1%) the amount of social tax paid by them for employees not older than 25 years is fully reimbursed from the state budget.
At the same time, the amount of social tax is reimbursed on the condition that young employees carry out continuous labor activity for 6 months, starting from the 7th month.
Reimbursement of the amount of social tax is carried out through transfers allocated to the off-budget Pension Fund under the Ministry of Economy and Finance from the republican budget for 2023.
When forming the State Budget for 2024 and 2025, the Ministry of Economy and Finance was instructed to provide for the planned expenses for the reimbursement of social tax in the first quarter of 2024 and 2025 as a separate line.
