Earlier, mobile version of Odnoklassniki was translated into Uzbek language, which allows to use all services, which available at the social network. Network said that the most popular services among the Uzbek audience were sending messages, games, status publication, placement and rating of images. Currently, daily audience of Odnoklassniki makes up over 1 million users, according to LiveInternet. At the same time, 77% of users prefer to communicate with their friends via mobile phones.
To launch of Uzbek version, Odnoklassniki launched a campaign “Hot winter at Odnoklassniki”. All registered users from 14 December to 14 January will receive 25 OK (internal currency of the network). Existing users will can use 5+ service for free within 30 days. At the same time, the prices of marks and gifts of Odnoklassniki will be cut by 5 OK during campaign period.
Mariya Lapuk, spokeswoman of Odnoklassniki, said Uzbekistan is important market for the network. Localized mobile version of Odnoklassniki has been launched in Uzbekistan for the first time. She said that Odnoklassniki will focus on content in 2013, attracting popular people, local news, etc.
