Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On the evening of 30 August, smoke was detected in a building on Seul Moon Street in the Chilanzar district of the capital, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan reported.

According to the Tashkent City Emergency Department, the incident was reported to the “112” service at 22:03. Fire and rescue crews promptly arrived at the scene.

An inspection revealed that the smoke was caused by overheating of a kitchen chimney. No fire was recorded, and no casualties were reported.
