In particular, the volume of microloans, issued in recent months, increased 1.5 times and made up about 655 billion soums, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan said.

The preferential loans for 21.8 billion soums (+3.5 times) were issued to graduates of professional colleges. Some 51.4 billion soums were issued to purchase of cattle to personnel and farm entities, which grew 1.4 times year-on-year.

The loans were issued and leasing services were rendered for 26.9 billion soums (+3.3 times) on agreements, signed during АgroMiniTechExpo exhibition-fair, to purchase mini and compact equipment.

The enterprises, producing food products, received loans for 615.2 billion soums (+1.3 times) due to resources of Special Preferential Crediting Fund of the bank – 21.8 billion soums (+2.3 times), development of craftsmanship and family business – 49.4 billion soums (+2.3 times), to service sector development – 317.9 billion soums (+1.4 times).

Loans for US$111.3 million were issued to finance investment projects of small and private businesses due to loans of international financial institutes. The growth rate made up 1.3 times.

Till the end of 2011, the commercial banks are planning to allocate about 210 billion soums of loans to the sector.
