The Central Bank of Uzbekistan said that the commercial banks increased allocation of micro loans by 1.4 times to 867 billion soums.

The Central Bank said that the commercial banks are contribution to financing business projects of small businesses and private entrepreneurship, as well as graduates of educational institutions.

The Uzbek bank issued 690 certificates to businesses for allocation of soft loans for 66.4 billion soums, of which 9.2 billion soums were issued to 419 graduates of educational establishments and 7 billion soums to businesswomen.

It is worth to mention that the commercial banks overall issued 69 billion soums to graduates of educational institutions in seven months of 2013, which rose 2.6 times year-on-year.

The regulator said that loans are issued to them on simple scheme.

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan said that the commercial banks currently are implementing measures on allocation of 6 trillion soums of loans to small businesses due to all sources of financing.
