Sports 09/01/2008 Singapore head for Gulf warm-up
Singapore coach Radojko Avramovic, who has had managerial spells in both Kuwait and Oman, has named a provisional 22-man squad for the Arabian triple-header with controversial striker Noh Alam Shah absent as he is recovering from foot surgery.

The 27-year-old, 2005 ASEAN Football Championship MVP, is serving a one-year domestic ban for violent attack on international team-mate Daniel Bennett during the Singapore FA Cup final and although it doesnt apply to international matches Alam Shahs recent operation ruled him out of contention.
