Specialists of the industry, farmers and businesses, breeding silkworms, members of the Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens participated at the event. The participants discussed existing problems of the sector and proposal on creation of Silkworm Breeders Association of Uzbekistan.

Participants considered existing problems of processing and production of silk products and developed recommendations on improving base and processing of production of national silk products.

The meeting was held in discussion form. The participants were briefed about silk industry of Uzbekistan, discussed main tasks and ways of their solving, developing the industry.
