Silk Road Insurance gets net income for 48.259m soums

Open joint stock company Silk Road Insurance received net income for 48.259 million soums of net income in 2011 against 83.744 million soums in 2010, the annual report of the company said.
Net revenue from rendered insurance services made up 838.06 million soums in 2011 compared to 427.51 million soums in 2010. The prime cost rose from 326.54 million soums in 2010 to 495.935 million soums in 2011.
The company said that the volume of insurance premiums made up 1.054 billion soums (+91.88%) and insurance payouts – 55.889 million soums (+2.91 times).
Income from financial activities decreased from 293.97 million soums in 2010 to 129.859 million soums in 2011. Expenses from financial activities grew from 2.14 million soums in 2010 to 5.076 million soums in 2011.
The assets of the insurance company grew from 4.19 billion soums in 2010 to 4.796 billion soums in 2011 (+14.58%).
Own capital rose from 3.8 billion soums in 2010 to 4.218 billion soums in 2011. The charter capital made up 4.17 billion soums in 2011. Insurance reserves of the company grew from 314.31 million soums in 2010 to 514.856 million soums in 2011.
