Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Low-cost airline Silk Avia received another fifth ATR 72-600 aircraft. This was announced by the press service of Uzbekistan Airways.

According to Uzbekistan Airways, the new aircraft has already been placed on the Silk Avia schedule and will soon begin serving passengers.

The ATR 72-600 can carry up to 70 passengers over a distance of up to 1,400 km at a speed of 550 km/h.

At the beginning of February 2024, the company’s fleet consisted of four aircraft.

Silk Avia is a domestic regional low-cost airline with headquarters in Tashkent, which began flights on 25 April 2023.
