Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 December, the district council of people’s deputies of Bekabad district approved a new khokim.
A 42-year-old Shukhrat Dusbekov was appointed to this position.
Before he was appointed as the khokim, Shukhrat Dusbekov served as chairman of the Tashkent Regional Council of Farmers and Household Farms.
On 18 December, it became known that the previous head of Bekabad district, Shukhrat Mirzaev, was detained as part of an anti-corruption campaign. Shukhrat Mirzaev ruled the district for only three months.
