Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Ministry of Agriculture between the leadership of the Uzbekbaliksanoat association and representatives of the Chinese company Shandong Youfa Group.

During the constructive dialogue, the prospects for establishing and expanding bilateral cooperation were discussed. In particular, special attention was paid to the issue of industrial shrimp farming in Uzbekistan. Chinese experts were provided with the necessary information about the existing conditions for growing shrimp, the state of natural and artificial reservoirs, the volume of water and its salinity level.

In turn, the experts provided explanations on technology, methods, volumes and other important aspects of shrimp cultivation in the People's Republic of China.

The fishing industry, which today is one of the most profitable industries in the world, began to develop in the early stages of the development of human civilization. Over the past period, fish products have taken an important place in the diet of most peoples, not only as everyday food, but also as one of the most necessary products for health.

During the negotiations, representatives of the Chinese company noted that they want to use 4 different methods of growing shrimp in Uzbekistan.
