Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Sherzod Namozov won the gold medal at the Paris Paralympic Games in men’s para-judo, class J2.

In the final match in the under 60 kg weight category, he triumphed over Georgian athlete Zurab Zurabiani, becoming a two-time Paralympic champion.

It is worth noting that Sherzod Namozov previously claimed his first gold medal at the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games.

So far, the Uzbekistan team at the Paris Paralympic Games has won a total of 16 medals: 7 gold, 5 silver, and 4 bronze.
