Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 21 January, acting khokim of Tashkent city Shavkat Umurzakov met with the governor of Anhui province, China.

Governor of the People’s Government of Anhui Province Wang Qingxian warmly welcomed the members of Tashkent delegation. Briefly speaking about the general indicators of the province, he expressed his readiness to support all initiatives and undertakings of the city of Tashkent.

Shavkat Umurzakov, thanking for the hospitality, said that the heads of the two states had created favorable conditions for mutual dialogue between the parties. He emphasized that currently there are many Chinese enterprises operating in Uzbekistan and, in particular, in Tashkent, which contribute to the economic development of both countries, in turn, and the most favorable conditions have been created for them, that their rights and interests are guaranteed by law.

Also, Shavkat Umurzakov introduced several large projects planned for implementation in Tashkent in the coming years, and invited representatives of the business community of the province to a mutually beneficial and long-term partnership.
