Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 22 August, acting Khokim of the capital Shavkat Umurzakov met with Vanson Copen, director of the representative office of the French Development Agency in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

Shavkat Umurzakov, who warmly welcomed the guest, expressed gratitude for the visit and said that in Uzbekistan, especially in Tashkent, a favorable investment and business environment has been created for both local and foreign companies. He also noted that the time has come to discuss promising projects, along with large projects currently being implemented jointly with French companies.

Vanson Kopan expressed his gratitude to Shavkat Umurzakov for the reception and openness to dialogue, and supported his proposals.

The parties expressed confidence that mutual cooperation will soon accelerate, and agreed to continue discussions.
