Shavkat Mirziyoyev visits the participants of the Second World War

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Day of Remembrance and Honor is widely celebrated in our country. Particular attention is paid to the promotion and strengthening of the health of participants in the Second World War. In particular, these days a group of veterans is improving their health in sanatoriums.

On 8 May, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Chinobod Plaza sanatorium in Tashkent and visited the war veterans. The head of state had a sincere conversation with Anorba ota Jalilov, Ashir ota Usarov, Antonina Kolomentseva, Tulagan ota Imomov, Abbos ota Appanov.

- I came to visit you, to congratulate you on the holiday. First of all, this is your holiday. Thanks to your courage and bravery then, the following generations lived peacefully and freely. Your life path, full of diligence and victories, is a real model for young people, a school of patriotism. Our whole country is proud of you,” the head of state said.

Participants of the war noted that they are surrounded by attention and care, they are satisfied with their lives. They talked about the changes taking place in their mahalla, in the lives of children and grandchildren.

- Here, we recently adopted our updated Constitution, - said the President. - We really appreciate the opportunity to be next to you, people with tremendous experience, to receive your advice at this time of change.

The veterans thanked the President for his attention and care.

- It is a great happiness for me to receive your blessing, to read a prayer with you asking for peace for our people. The prayers of such venerable people as you, who have survived many trials and have almost a century of life experience, will be heard. We will continue to pay great attention to creating all the necessary conditions for the older generation. For us, this is a sacred duty and obligation,” said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
