Shavkat Mirziyoyev visits enterprise of automobile industry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the activities of the Uzbek-Singapore joint venture "Technologies of Real Time," located in Zangiata district of Tashkent region.

The automobile industry plays a significant role in Uzbekistan’s economy. Over the past few years, the volume of vehicle production in the country has increased nearly threefold, with an expected output of 460,000 units by the end of this year. By 2030, this figure is planned to reach 1 million.

To eliminate monopolies and foster competition, two new private enterprises and international brands have been attracted to the sector. Currently, more than 20 factories in the country produce dozens of types of vehicles, including both cargo and passenger transport.

The demand for automotive spare parts in Uzbekistan continues to grow. In this direction, over 300 enterprises have united into a cooperative network. One such enterprise is "Technologies of Real Time," which manufactures spare parts for the chassis, transmission, and control systems of 118 different brands of vehicles.

The enterprise has created 220 jobs. Employees undergo training at a specialized mono-center before being hired. The company’s products are supplied throughout Uzbekistan, including to the "Uzavto Motors" factory in the Khorezm region, where 773,000 spare parts for "Damas" and "Labo" vehicles have been delivered.

A modern laboratory has also been established at the enterprise for testing and technical inspection of spare parts, and the products are certified according to international standards: IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2020, and General Motors BIOS.

Due to their high quality, the company’s products are in demand in the international market. Last year, goods worth US$3 million were exported to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Ukraine, and the UAE. In the first nine months of this year, exports exceeded US$2 million.

Since 2018, the enterprise has participated in international exhibitions in Germany, the UAE, China, and Russia. The president was informed about the manufacturing process at the factory and spoke with the employees, as well as inspected the finished products in the enterprise’s showroom.

Plans for further development were also presented during the meeting. In 2025, an investment project worth US$1.15 million will be implemented, allowing for the production of spare parts for new brands such as BYD, Chery, Changan, Geely, and Dongfeng. This initiative will create 43 new jobs and increase production capacity from 180,000 to 280,000 units.
