Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Uzbekistan and Belarus managed to take relations to a qualitatively new level. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated this at negotiations with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, BELTA correspondent reports.

“In recent years, we have managed to radically change the nature and content of Uzbek-Belarusian relations, bringing them to a qualitatively new level, we agreed to maintain active contacts at the level of parliaments, governments, ministers and regions. We confirmed the importance of continuing mutual support within international structures. We discussed measures to increase trade turnover over US$1 billion,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said at negotiations with Alexander Lukashenko.
