Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi, will take part on 4 July in a regular meeting of the Council of Heads of States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which will be held in the form of a videoconference.

In accordance with the agenda of the summit, topical issues of further deepening multifaceted cooperation within the SCO, expanding and improving the activities of the Organization will be considered.

It is envisaged that following the meeting, the heads of the SCO states will make a number of decisions in the field of economic cooperation, digital transformation, ensuring regional security, as well as in the cultural and humanitarian sphere and other priority areas.
