Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 January, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a working meeting with Advisor on Economic Development, Good Governance and International Cooperation Suma Chakrabarti.

At the meeting, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Suma Chakrabarti discussed current activities and future steps to improve the effectiveness of socio-economic reforms within the framework of the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy.

The parties also considered practical aspects of implementing the strategy in 2024, declared the Year of Support for Youth and Business in Uzbekistan.

Issues of effective use of internal reserves and strengthening cooperation with foreign partners in such areas as attracting foreign investment, creating broad opportunities for entrepreneurship and private property, developing science, innovation, the IT sector, and introducing “green” and digital technologies were also discussed.
