Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, sent condolences to the President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, regarding the victims and those injured in the tragedy in Magdeburg.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed sympathy to the families and loved ones of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
On Friday evening, a car crashed into a crowd at a Christmas market in Magdeburg. The Prime Minister of the state of Saxony-Anhalt, Reiner Haseloff, reported two fatalities, including a young child. The city authorities, in turn, reported 68 injured. Later, the publication Bild updated the information, reporting four fatalities and 105 wounded.
