Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent condolences to the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping in connection with the numerous casualties and injuries caused by the earthquake in the provinces of Gansu and Qinghai.

According to the latest data, 118 people died as a result of the earthquake.

The head of our state conveyed words of sympathy and support to the families and friends of the victims, and wished recovery to the victims.
