Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 28 February, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with a Russian delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Russian official conveyed greetings and best wishes from President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The parties conducted in-depth discussions on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, particularly in the construction sector and territorial development, in line with agreements reached during the Russian leader’s state visit to Uzbekistan in May last year.

Special emphasis was placed on strengthening collaboration in construction, including joint design and implementation of infrastructure projects, as well as the supply of construction materials and equipment within socio-economic development programs.

Additionally, the importance of experience exchange in equity construction, project planning, expert evaluation, digitalization, and public procurement processes was highlighted.
