Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Shares of 10 largest companies and commercial banks in Uzbekistan will be put up for open and transparent trading. This was stated by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in his address to the Parliament.

“In 2023, the shares of 10 largest companies and commercial banks of the country will be put up for open and transparent trading, in which all our citizens will be able to take part,” the head of state said.

“I’m sure it will be a real people’s IPO. I think it is appropriate to repeat here: if the people are rich, then the state will be rich and strong,” he said.
