Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An official opening ceremony of the exhibition dedicated to the results of the “plein air” with the participation of leading artists from the member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) took place in Shakhrisabz.

The exhibition was opened by the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization Khusrav Noziri, the Chairman of the Tourism Committee Umid Shadiev and the khokim of Shakhrisabz Sherzod Boriev.

The most famous artists from Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan were invited to the plein air, organized on the initiative of the Tourism Committee from 27 March to 6 April. 

During the visit, foreign artists got acquainted with the rich history, culture, customs, national crafts, gastronomic and tourism potential of Uzbekistan, as well as the most interesting places, unique landscape and unique nature of our country.

The exhibition features more than 40 works.
