Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A new deputy khokim of Tashkent - head of the Department for Family and Women’s Affairs has been appointed.

According to the Tashkent khokimiyat, Shakhnoza Sultanova was appointed as deputy khokim of Tashkent - head of the Department for Family and Women’s Affairs.

Nodira Umarova, who has held this position to this day, has been relieved of it due to her transfer to another job.

To date, Shakhnoza Sultanova has worked as the executive director of the Belarusian-Uzbek Intersectoral Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications in Tashkent.
