Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Following the talks between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, a Joint Statement was adopted to develop further strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.

In the presence of the heads of state, an Intergovernmental Agreement on exempting holders of diplomatic passports from visa procedures and cooperation agreements in education, science, technology and innovation, and sports were also signed.
