Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 4 September, seven new bus routes have been launched in Tashkent. 

The decision was made in connection with the beginning of the academic year in the educational institutions of the capital, the increase in the flow of passengers using public transport services, as well as on the basis of applications received from passengers.

According to the press service of Toshshahartranskhizmat JSC, the following bus routes were opened:

No. 3 "Unkurgan - Navruz Market";

No. 127 "Aviasozlar - Farhad market";

No. 144 "Dustlik massif 2 - Kuruvchilar massif";

No. 157 "Yunusabad 19-quarter - metro station" Pakhtakor ";

No. 159 "Mahalla Hyderabad - Navruz";

No. 161 "Mahalla Erkin - Almazar metro station";

No. 175 "Massif Madaniyat - Yunusabad dekhkan market".

As a result, the number of bus routes in Tashkent was increased to 167, and the number of daily buses to 1,700, the report said.
