Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Seven boxers from Uzbekistan advanced to the finals of the World Junior Boxing Championship in Armenia.
In the semi-final battles, 11 representatives of the Uzbekistan national team entered the ring. Seven of them won their fights and reached the finals of the tournament.
According to the regulations, today is a day off. The final battles will take place on 3-4 December.
Maftuna Musurmonova (-46 kg), Sevara Mamatova (-57 kg), Maftuna Yangieva (-75 kg), Sobirahon Shakhobiddinova (+80 kg), Firuzjon Sadullaev (-60 kg), Khikmatillo Ulmasov (-63 kg) and Islom Salikhov (+80 kg) reached the finals of the World Championship.
Abdurakhmon Makhmujonov (-46 kg), Akbar Akhmadov (-66 kg), Khusan Kakhkhorov (-50 kg) and Norbek Abdullaev (-70 kg) became the bronze medalists of the World Championship.
