A session of Coordination Council of law enforcement bodies took place at General-Prosecutor’s Office, UzA reported. The report said representatives of Interior Ministry, National Security Service, State Tax Committee and State Customs Committee attended the meeting.

The session discussed issues on directorate of public prosecutions on consideration of application and claims on illegitimate actions of law enforcement bodies and controlling organs, violation of rights and interests of businesses, etc.

The participants considered issues on inquiry of people, wanted for crimes connected with religious, extremism and terrorism.

It was noted that it is necessary to strengthen measures on improvement of interaction of law enforcement bodies in investigation measures and effective use of opportunities of international agreements, which Uzbekistan joined.

The session put concrete tasks to eliminate existing shortcoming and increase effectiveness of fight against crime.
