Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The fifty-first plenary meeting of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis will be held on 30 March.

This decision was made at the next meeting of the Kengash of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

At the plenary meeting, which will be held using videoconferencing, several issues are planned to be discussed.

Among them are laws such as “On telecommunications”, “On amendments and additions to certain legislative acts aimed at strengthening guarantees of the independence of the judiciary, informing the public about the activities of the courts and ensuring uniform judicial practice”, “On amendments to certain legislative acts ", and others.

Also on the agenda of the plenary meeting will be consideration of the law “On the ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement on the Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism”, as well as “On the Ratification of the International Labor Organization Convention No. 156 on Equal Treatment and Equal Opportunities for Workers men and women: workers with family responsibilities."

In addition, senators will consider the report of the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis on activities in 2023 and discuss the issue of sending a parliamentary request to the Cabinet of Ministers regarding the state of nature conservation.

Along with this, the approval of several resolutions of the Kengash of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis will be considered.
