The plenary session will consider several laws, passed by the Legislative Chamber (lower house of parliament). The Senators will consider following laws, in particular “On counteraction human trafficking”,“On mandatory insurance of civic liability of vehicle owners” and “On accession of Uzbekistan to international convention on fight against acts of nuclear terrorism” (New York, 13 April 2005) and introduction of changes and amendments to several legislative acts.

The Senate will also review activities of several state bodies in 2007, including prosecutors’ office, committee on protection of nature, human rights commissioner (Ombudsman) of Oliy Majlis, etc.

The Senate will discuss other issues of its jurisdiction.
