The document was developed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan to ensure employment, income and life standard of population, effective use of potential of territories and industries of economy, strengthening responsibilities of local administrations in creation of work places and employment of population.

Senators noted that the programme was based on the results of analysis and evaluation of current and perspectives needs of labour market, expected works on creation of work places in 2010 and implementation of targeted works for 2011 on ensuring sustainable economic growth and development of territories.

The main direction and forecast parameters of the programme on creation of work places and ensuring employment of population for 2011 was determined based on needs for worker in places.

The programme envisages creation of 956,200 new jobs in 2011 due to implementation of investment programmes, localization and modernization programmes, creation of small enterprises and microfirms, development of outwork, etc.

The document also includes measures on ensuring execution of forecast parameters on creation of works and ensuring employment of population in 2011.
