Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  The Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Tanzila Narbaeva, met with Fatima Rababhoni, the High Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations.

During the meeting, important issues concerning Uzbekistan and the Central Asia region’s future were discussed.

Topics included the development of maritime trade relations, economic and social development of Uzbekistan, and future plans.

Attention was also given to the expansion of Uzbekistan’s positive relations with neighboring countries, climate change issues, the implementation of innovative agricultural projects, the development of online trade systems, and the security of transit routes.

The discussion covered external trade, transportation, and communication within the Central Asia region, as well as the international work needed in these areas.
