First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Uzbekistan Rustam Azimov presented a draft budget to the Senators.
It is expected that budget deficit in 2017 will make up 1% to GDP or 2.4 trillion soums.
In particular, the Government expects that income part of the budget will make up 44.5 trillion soums or 19.2% to GDP, expense part – 46.9 trillion soums or 20.2% to GDP.
According to Azimov, tax burden to economy will fell from 20.2% to GDP in 2016 to 18.9% in 2017.
In line with the budget of Uzbekistan, the country’s GDP will grow by 7.8% in 2017, industrial production – over 8%, production of agriculture goods – 6.2% and capital investments – 9.6%.
