First Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Rustam Azimov delivered a report on the State Budget of Uzbekistan for 2010.

The State Budget of Uzbekistan envisages the growth of the gross domestic product of the country expected at the level of 8.3% in 2010. Industrial output will increase by 8.3% and agriculture output by 5%.

It is forecasted that the retail trade turnover will rise by 16.3% and investments by 22%, while the growth of export will grow by 6%..

The State Budget stipulates to direct 59.1% of expenses to social sphere. In particular, expenses to education sector will account 7.7% of GDP, healthcare - 2.8% and payment of social allowance - 2.4%.

It is expected that Uzbekistan’s economy will grow by 8.1% in 2009 and industrial output will rise by 9.1% and agriculture output will increase by 5%.
