Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Committee for Competition Development and Consumer Rights Protection has initiated nationwide educational seminars on "Financial Literacy" and "Addressing Consumer Issues."

In particular, on November 28 of the current year, a series of seminars on enhancing financial literacy took place at Nukus State Pedagogical Institute named after Ajiniyaz, Karakalpak State University, Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, Samarkand International University of Tourism, and Samarkand branch of Tashkent Economic University. These seminars will continue nationwide until 20 December.

During the educational seminars, students are provided with an overview of consumer rights and information on the most common mistakes and fraudulent schemes. The goal of the seminars is to enhance the legal literacy of the population in using financial services.

These events are organized in collaboration with the German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation.
