Representatives of nine communication administrations of the Regional Communication Commonwealth (RCC), US Postal Service, Executive Committee of the RCC, the Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information, Uzbekiston Pochtasi, UNICON.Uz, State Inspection on Communication, State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan attended the seminar.

During the event, the sides considered rules of processing and deliver of lithium batteries, responsibilities of customs service, ICT decisions on postal communication security, plan on customs strategy, security of postal communication, etc.

The US Postal Service representatives briefed the participants on situations, related to introduction of aviation security measures by the US Transport Security Department, changes on aviation security in the European Union.

The sides discussed issues of exchanging experience on preliminary notification, exchange of electronic data in customs and aviation and physical security issues.
