Selectel Russian cloud provider enters Uzbekistan market

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 6 May 2020, Selectel, Russia’s leading cloud provider, began operating in Uzbekistan. The company will introduce advanced IT-development and tools for digitalization of the business. Selectel will invest up to one million US dollars in three years to develop in the new market.

Uzbekistan became the first country where the Selectel cloud platform is located. By the end of 2020, Selectel also plans to enter the Belarusian market. Today in the republic the demand for cloud services for data storage and processing is being formed, solutions are being searched for teamwork and business.

“We have chosen Uzbekistan as the first foreign market, since we see the economic potential of the republic and the desire of the authorities to build a digital state and economy. Cloud computing is an integral part of this process. We are confident that Selectel solutions will be in demand not only in the rapidly growing IT industry, but also in traditional business areas for Uzbekistan,” said Oleg Lyubimov, CEO of Selectel.

Selectel placed its own infrastructure in a data center in Tashkent, which ensured high speed and uninterrupted operation of the services deployed on it. Today in Uzbekistan, the Selectel Office office suite and the Selectel Chat multifunctional messenger, a business application for organizing convenient and productive work, have become available. In July, the Selectel cloud platform will be launched. It will allow you to quickly and inexpensively create infrastructure for digital products of any complexity and scale.

“We intend to build a successful business in Uzbekistan with a strong partner network. Selectel offers various options for cooperation to local providers and integrators in order to jointly develop the market,” emphasized Oleg Lyubimov, CEO of Selectel.

For this, Selectel prepared White Label affiliate programs, when the provider’s services are integrated into the product sold under the partner’s brand, and Revenue Share, when the provider shares the revenue from the clients attracted by the latter with the partner.

Selectel was founded in 2008 and has been developing cloud services for over 10 years. The company was the first participant in the global Intel Cloud Technology program from Russia, standing on a par with Amazon Web Services, Rackspace and OVH. Today, Selectel serves over 15 thousand customers. Among them are VKontakte, the largest social network in Eastern Europe, Uchi.ru international educational platform, Citimobil online taxi booking service, Samokat food delivery service and other well-known brands.
