"I am confident that the SCO can contribute considerably to the strengthening of broad integrated processes, stabilization, and solving socio-economic and humanitarian issues in the Eurasian region," Lavrov said.
The minister said business leaders would be invited to the event, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between the public and private sector in the fight against the threat of terrorism.
The SCO is a regional security organization comprising Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
