SCO RATS Council to hold meeting in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Council of the Regional Anti-Terrorism Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO RATS) will be held in Tashkent on 27 March 2012, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

It is expected that member-states of the SCO will attend the meeting. The members of the SCO are Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

It is planned that the session will consider activities of the SCO RATS in 2011 and perspectives of development of cooperation in such directions as terrorism, separatism and extremism.
