Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- There were schoolchildren on the bus that collided with a truck in the Bukhara region. The Ministry of Preschool and School Education announced this.

It was previously reported that the accident occurred on 18 March at approximately 10:30 at the intersection of the A-380B and 4P-69 highways passing through Kagan district.

According to the department, students from regional specialized public school No. 5 traveled to the Bukhara Drama Theater on two buses.

The Ministry notes that schoolchildren injured in a car accident are undergoing a medical examination.

As a result of the incident, one student died.

Based on the results of the investigation, appropriate measures will be taken against those responsible for the incident.
