At the meeting, the sides noted the consistent development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia in the socio-political, trade, economic, investment and humanitarian fields, and that agreements reached during meetings of the heads of both countries were an important legal foundation of this.

During the talks, they exchanged in detail their views on expanding and strengthening the scale of trade, economic and investment cooperation in the future, as well as on jointly developing and implementing mutually beneficial projects.

Following the meeting between the Uzbek and Saudi finance ministries, a loan agreement was signed on a project to reconstruct the Alat pumping station in Bukhara region.
