Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Saudi Arabia has included Uzbekistan in the list of countries whose citizens will be granted an electronic visa.

This new e-Visa will be presented as a printed QR code containing all the necessary traveler details and will replace the previously used visa stickers.

In May, Saudi Arabia introduced this system for 7 countries, and subsequently expanded the list to 19 countries. In early August, the list was supplemented by 8 more countries, including Uzbekistan.

An e-visa is issued for a period of one year and allows tourists to stay in the country for up to 90 days. With this visa, you can travel, relax, visit relatives and friends, perform Umrah.

At the same time, an electronic visa does not give the right to perform the Hajj, as well as live or work in Saudi Arabia. According to the agency, the cost of a visa is US$146.
