Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Sanjar Valiev has been appointed as the new head of the Information and Analytical Center for International Relations under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Dunyo news agency reports.

Previously, he held a position in the external relations service of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and has extensive experience in studying foreign policy issues.

Sanjar Valiev replaced Daniyar Kurbanov, who headed the IACMO in the period from 2019 to 2023, in this position.

IACMO was created in 2016 to conduct comprehensive research in the field of foreign policy, as well as international political and economic relations.
