Samarkand Lift Contraction Plant posts 687.952m sums of loss
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Samarkand Lift Contraction Plant open joint stock company posted net loss for 687.952 million soums in 2010 against 339,000 soums of net income in 2009.

Net revenue of the company, only lift construction plant in Central Asia, made up 926.006 million soums in 2010 against 1.285 billion soums in 2009. The prime cost fell from 1.159 billion soums to 825.982 million soums in the reporting period.

Gross profit from sales decreased from 125.374 million soums in 2009 to 100.024 million soums in 2010, expenses grew from 4523.445 million soums to 839.299 million soums.

Other income from main activity made up 79.897 million soums in 2010 compared to 68.6 million soums in 2010. Loss from main activity jumped from 259.47 million soums in 2009 to 659.28 million soums in 2010.

Income from financial activity slipped from 270.05 million soums to 134.648 million soums, expenses from financial activity grew from 10.215 million soums to 163.22 million soums in the reporting period.

The assets of the company made up 11.604 billion soums in 2010 compared to 12.606 billion soums in 2010. Long-term investments exceeded 13.336 million soums, and capital investments grew from 229.87 million soums to 247.484 million soums in the reporting period.

Own capital of the company fell from 10.887 billion soums to 9.527 billion soums in 2010. The charter capital of the company made up 786.303 million soums in 2010.

Liabilities grew from 1.719 billion soums in 2009 to 2.078 billion soums in 2010, the company said.

It added that the company plans to rehabilitate own capital volume due to increasing production volume to 500 lifts in 2011.
