Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The last two years have dramatically changed the world. The coronavirus pandemic has divided global business by a number of borders, significantly limiting its capabilities. At the same time, such circumstances prompted businesses to actively compete for the consumer audience on the Internet, offering them their applications and software.

The goal is to increase the awareness of major players in the WRO sphere about the conditions and opportunities for the development of the sphere in Uzbekistan, to establish cooperation between local and international companies to further attract orders and increase the volume of IT services provided and exported.

Within the framework of the summit, the case of Revotech, a successfully operating BPO company in the field of logistics, and the World Bank project “Digital Inclusion – Uzbekistan” were presented.

In addition, during the event, a panel discussion was held on the topic "Key factors for a successful global BPO business." It was attended by major players in the international IT outsourcing market and representatives of international organizations.

Among them are Director of FIFO Tech Towhid Hossain Managing (Bangladesh), Vice President of Assured Partners Transportation Kenneth Lacey (USA), Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Shashidhara Dongre (India), Managing Director of Kerala State Information Technology Infrastructure Santhosh Babu (India), Executive Director of Sababa Security Georgy Shebuldaev (Italy), Head of the UNDP Good Governance Cluster Kamila Mukhamedkhanova, Executive Director of Accenture Andrey Raspopov (Russian Federation) and others.

The discussion was moderated by the director of IT Park Uzbekistan Farhod Ibragimov.

The event was aimed at discussing the issues of training and employment of BPO specialists, technical and financial support for BPO companies, involvement in IT outsourcing, information security in the BPO sector and other topical issues.

Today, BPO centers are available in all regions of Uzbekistan and in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The staff for them is trained in BPO schools, the best graduates of which are employed by BPO companies.
