Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Sales of Chevrolet cars in Kazakhstan in April decreased by almost three times compared to March 2024. This was reported by the Kazakhstan Automobile Union.

Some 1,477 new Chevrolet cars were sold on the Kazakh market in April.

As a result, Chevrolet lost its leadership in the Kazakhstan market in terms of car sales.

Hyundai took first place, selling more than 3 thousand cars.

Hyundai outperformed its competitors not only in April, but also in the period from January to April. Over these four months, more than 12 thousand Hyundai cars were sold.

KIA took second place with 6.6 thousand cars sold.

Chevrolet dropped to third place with 4.8 thousand vehicles sold.

For comparison, during the same period in 2023, 14.3 thousand Chevrolet vehicles were sold.
