According to the document, starting from 1 April 2008 salaries, pensions, social allowances and stipends will be increased 1.12 times on the average, UzA reported.

The following minimum monthly amounts will be introduced in Uzbekistan:

– salaries: 20,865 soums;
– pensions: 41,330 soums;
– basic (zero) grade on the single tariff scale: 20,865 soums;
– allowances to disabled from childhood: 41,330 soums;
– allowances to elderly and disabled citizens without the required work experience: 25,030 soums.

The expenses related to increase of the salaries, pensions, allowances and stipends will be covered by the State Budget and the Pension Fund under the Finance Ministry of Uzbekistan.
