Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Saidaazim Guliamov, Managing Director of UzAuto Motors Powertrain, has been appointed to serve as Acting CEO of the company.

This decision was made by the company’s shareholder during a meeting held on December 26, 2024.

Guliamov will assume all rights and responsibilities of the CEO until a new appointment is made. The decision regarding the new CEO is expected to be made by 30 June 2025.

It is worth noting that Guliamov previously held the CEO position for several years before Bo Andersson’s appointment as CEO.

Bo Andersson completed his tenure as CEO of UzAuto Motors and UzAuto Motors Powertrain in December 2024.

UzAuto Motors Powertrain manufactures advanced second-generation gasoline and bi-fuel engines, including B-DOHC (Double Overhead Camshaft) and both turbocharged and naturally aspirated CSS (Cylinder Set Strategy) Prime engines. These engines are designed for optimal power output and fuel efficiency, meeting the needs of Uzbekistan's automotive market.

The company offers engines with displacements of 1.2 liters and 1.5 liters, tailored for popular models such as the Onix, Tracker, and Cobalt.
